Arrive Delhi

On arrival transfer to hotel for check in and overnight stay. Overnight in Delhi.

Delhi Sightseeing

We will start our tour with visit to a center where young woman are taught sewing and stitching. Later we will visit Old Delhi and see the beautiful Jama Majid before continuing to visit the National Crafts Museum,one of the largest museums in India. The museum is run by the Ministry of Textiles and holds over 35,000 rare and distinctive pieces, reflecting the traditions of Indian craftsmen through painting, embroidery, textiles, clay, stone and wood. In the evening, we will take an overnight train from Delhi to Jaisalmer. Overnight in Delhi.

Arrive Jaisalmer

Arrive Jaisalmer, day at leisure. Evening we will visit Sam Dunes for camel safari and Dinner. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer

Today we will visit, Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temple, Bada Bagh and Haveli’s – Patwon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ji ki Haveli. Later, Witness mirror work done by ladies followed by puppet making in Jaisalmer. Overnight at Jaisalmer.

Jaisalmer – Barmer – Balotra – Rohet Garh

Today we will visit Balotra for wood painting and Barmerfor wood carving. Get an Insight into Bandhej & Dabu printing procedures,Woodcarving, embroidery, block painting and other handicrafts.Visit the mud-walled houses decorated with the characteristic geometrical designs of each different village. Later continue drive to Rohet Garh. Overnight at Rohet Garh.

Rohet Garh

Day excursion tour to Khejarli – Shepherds Village and Gudha village (spot wild life & visit to bishnoi families). Today we will visit Salawas (Block printer’s village), Salawas (Weavers village), and Potter’s Village ( Khejarli and Salawasi). Overnight at Rohet Garh.

Rohet Garh – Khimsar

Moring drive to Jodhpur and visit Meherangarth Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Museum and Jaswant Thada. Later continue drive to Khimsar via Pipar. In Pipar, witness block making and block printing onsilk fabric. Continue to Khimsar Dunes Village.If time permits we will enjoy a Jeep Safari in Khimsar in the afternoon. Overnight at Khimsar Dunes Village.

Khimsar – Nagaur – Pushkar

Morning after breakfast, visit Nila Moti, an inviting women’s work programmer, the quality of the work is exceptional.Little bit outside of Pushkar, a family run company. This will be one of the place where we print our own block print fabrics. Overnight at Pushkar.

Pushkar – Jaipur

Morning after breakfast drive Jaipur. Evening you will take leisurely stroll through local fashionable colorful market. Jaipur is famous for its Bazaars. You will have an opportunity to spend time in the oldest and busiest of markets in the walled city Johori Bazaar. You will visit the craftspeople, still using basic tools and ancient traditions to make the most extraordinary variety of handicrafts and household appliances. Along the way you will also see the city’s delicious and aromatic street food heritage; and will learn local religious rituals and legends when you stop at small shrines. Strolling through the bazaars is a lesson in the lifestyle of ordinary people. Overnight in Jaipur.

Jaipur – Sanganer- Bagru – Jaipur

Morning after breakfast, you will transfer to Sanganer and Bagru Village (approx. 1hr drive one way) where you will attend workshop and see the villages at work of fascinating art of Tie and Dye, Bandhani, Block printing with wooden blocks, glass jewelry, utensils and the art of handmade papers. Later we will drive back to Jaipur. Overnight at Jaipur.

Jaipur

Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Amer Fort enroute photo stop at Hawa Mahal. Later visit Anokhi museum of block printing. Afternoon free at leisure to explore the pink city on your own. Overnight at Jaipur.

Jaipur – Delhi – Departure

Upon arrival in Delhi you will transfer to Delhi international airport where you will board flight to onward destination.
