10 Princesses From Around The World
Royal families have long been associated with the British monarchy and because of the long-standing fascination people have with British royalty, it can be easy to forget that there are other royal families with their very own princesses.
Just take these beautiful princesses. Resplendent and admirable in equal measure, their beauty is befitting of their titles and goes to show that royalty extends well beyond the British Isles. Here are 10 princesses from around the World.
1. Princess Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco
Monaco is a principality laden with wealth and prestige, and one of its most famous residents is the breathtakingly beautiful princess, Charlotte Casiraghi.
Going by the official title, Princess Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco, the stunner, who also has French, American, Italian, English, German, Mexican, Irish and Swedish ancestry, is eighth in line to the Monegasque throne and is a household name in her native France.
What's more, Charlotte became the first woman to model for Gucci's cosmetic range, and with a face like hers, that's hardly surprising. A fan of sports, she is also a keen horse rider but maintains a girly love for all things fashion, something recognised by Vanity Fair who included Charlotte in their 2016 International Best Dressed list.
2. Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg
Like Monaco, Luxembourg is a tiny principality in Europe but is nonetheless home to some seriously beautiful people, and their princess is arguably the pick of the bunch.
Princess Alexandra isn't just a pretty face, however, and when she isn't the envy of many women, she's displaying her athletic prowess in various sporting activities including swimming, tennis and skiing events.
Noted for her fashion style, Princess Alexandra is believed to have modelled her style on Kate Middleton's.
3. Princess Haya of Jordan
A seasoned inclusion, Princess Haya of Jordan is still every bit as beautiful as the others on this list and is living proof that age is just a number. Now 42, Haya bint Hussein has brawn as well as beauty, boasting a degree in P.P.E. (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) from Britain's prestigious Oxford University.
If that wasn't enough for someone who already has it all, the Middle Eastern beauty has also competed in professional equestrian events and is the former president of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports.
4. Princess Ameera Al Taweel of Saudi Arabia
It appears the Middle East is a hotbed of royal beauty, and another example of this is Princess Ameera Al Taweel of Saudi Arabia. Better still is Ameera's track record when it comes to giving back to those with less, acts of selflessness that were recognised in 2012.
Winning “The Woman Personality of the Year' award of 2012, the Saudi princess is a respected humanitarian and has fought endlessly for the progress of women's rights in Saudi Arabia.
5. Princess Letizia of Asturias
Yes, we know she became Queen of Spain in 2014, but we couldn't help but include her as a princess on our list because she's so god damn pretty! And it isn't only her looks that make her such a compelling person. Before she focused on her royal duties full-time, she was an accomplished journalist and news anchor.
Reporting on everything from the 9/11 attacks to the Iraq War, the princess also made a splash of a different kind when pictured in a bright pink dress, leading the famous Cuban artist and long-time admirer of hers, Waldo Saavedra, to paint her topless.
6. Princess Madeleine of Sweden
If ever there was a blonde bombshell a cut above the rest, then look no further than Princess Madeleine of Sweden. Famed for her high-rise cheekbones, platinum blonde hair and steel green eyes, the flawless royal is sixth in line to the Swedish throne.
Married to the British banker Christopher O'Neill, Madeline has a love for, yep you guessed it, horses, and when she isn't being photoed riding them or frolicking around the beach in a bikini the alluring face can be seen in various 'Most Beautiful Lists' from publications as esteemed as Forbes and PopCrunch, the latter placing her 3rd in their '10 Hottest Young Royals of 2010' list.
7. Princess Ashi Sonam Dechan Wangchuck of Bhutan
Another princess who proves there's more to royal titles than looking good is Princess Ashi Sonam DechanWangchuck of Bhutan, who holds a degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
The daughter of the 4th King of Bhutan also holds a masters qualification in law from Harvard Law School and, as of today, serves as President of the Bhutan National Legal Institute.
8. Princess Keisha Omilana of Nigeria
There are many African princesses to choose from, each belonging to various tribes, with some going back thousands of years. However, the African princess we think stands out most is Princess Keisha Omilana of Nigeria.
Lithe as well as gorgeous, the Yoruba tribe princess holds a degree in fashion, and as well as working as a fashion model Keisha has appeared on various American TV shows including 30 Rock and SNL.
9. Princess Martha Louise of Norway
The second Scandinavian princess to feature on our list is Princess Martha Louise of Norway. The only daughter of King Harald V and Queen Sonja, Martha has taken a different route to most on this list, and instead of indulging in a passion for horses, Martha's interests lie in the fields of business and writing.
The Norweigan is also a trained physiotherapist, although she has never practised, and instead set up her own commercial entertainment business before writing her first children's book, aptly titled, 'Why Kings and Queens Don't Wear Crowns.'
10. Princess Tatiana of Greece
If there was one woman deserving of the much-used compliment 'Greek Goddess' it's Princess Tatiana of Greece. Unsurprisingly, the elegant princess is a taken one and is married to Nikolas of Greece and Denmark.
But we're not going to end our praise. As well as being the most beautiful on our list (in our opinion), Tatiana, also holds a degree in sociology from America's prestigious Georgetown University.
